Castle Rock Nazis

Hello there I have a conspiracy theory about Castle Rock. There have been a number of people being quietly closed down lately - ebay man, washington university Real site, Seinfeld sights and sounds. It is this last one that concerns me. It was, as I understand, a bit of a trailblazer with a wide selection of Seinfeld episodes looking like it was going to complete the set at some point. It was a great site that was even mentioned on US national tv.

All of a sudden the site stops adding episodes. The guy tells us personal reasons, and then isp bandwith problems. When you get two reasons there is nearly always something amiss. So I reckon that the Castle Rock nazis closed him down either directly or indirectly but don't want too much BAD PUBLICITY about taking this kind of action against Sein fans.

Remember the same kind of thing happened here in Canada recently with Icrave TV that was re-broadcasting TV signals through the net - perfectly legal, by the way, in Canada. But the heavy pressure of expensive law suits (even if unsuccessful) brought them down. They were operating under the same open law that allows Canadian cable companies to re-broadcast TV signals.

This may seem odd coming from me (since the folks at Castle Rock stopped me from selling a Blooper and PR Day Parade tape at eBay), but I have two possible theories about CR'srecent frenzy of activity:

(1) As part of their deal with Ted Turner, they must be more viligant, and/or (2) They're going to release the series on DVD and videotape sometime in the (near?) future, and they want to protect their investment (remember, they paid Jerry, Larry and Co. dearly for these episodes).

Again, it may seem strange coming from me (since I was hoping to make a buck or two on the deal), but I think the term "Nazis" is a tad strong. I prefer "Storm Troopers." ; )

I usually don't react this way, but I'm German and I can't accept that people play down this whole Nazi thing.

The idea is that Castle Rock`s actions were originally compared to Nazism and I facetiously added that I thought they are even worse than "the worst". I think people are taking this Nazi thing too far. I think the fisrt poster meant it in the same way as the soup nazi thing..... as a joke.
