Yesterday there was a message posted that referred to Seinfeld as "Super Friends". If this was in any way meant to compare the two sitcoms, I beg everyone not to put Friends on the same level as Seinfeld. There is no comparison. The show Friends is cast with pretty little people who are cursed with "sassy" personalities, born to show their bare bottoms on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine. Although the show can be funny at times, it fails to challenge the viewer like Seinfeld does. One of the beauties of Seinfeld is that you never know which of life's little nuances will be explored on any given episode. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Friends. It's OK. But doesn't it bother anyone (ages 25-30) that the show is another failed attempt to label what some would refer to as "Generation X"?
