HOw would it be without Jerry?

Okay the cast signs for two years.... Jerry on one. What would the show be like without Jerry in the second year if he didn't come back?

Personally, I don't think it would be that much different...

Believe it, or not, they could probably make a half-ass go of ONE (no more) season w/o Jerry, or with minimal appearances. Jerry could be a big hit in another country and be on tour w/ occasional phone-ins to the rest of the cast. (Sounds familiar - Chrissy Snow??) Keep in mind that a ratings slip w/ less expenses to produce the show may be viewed as a worthwhile trade-off by NBC.

What if one of the cast members, God forbid, died? Would the show still go on?

Come off it! Everyone knows that there wouldn't be a "Seinfeld" without Seinfeld. People are so down on Jerry being a bad actor, the worst character on the show, etc., that they don't stop to think that there wouldn't even BE a Seinfeld show without him. Without his quirky comedy style to start the Seinfeld phenomenon and to end it, we'd all be talking about crud like "Ellen" - oops! I forgot, no we wouldn't, 'cause that show is a Seinfeld clone (albeit a cruddy one).
