Elaine was annyoing in 95/96 season!

What was with Elaine's character in the 95/96 Seinfeld season. She was a jerk! She had a whole new attitude twords George, Kramer, and Jerry. It's like she finally got annoyed with them. Here's a list of changes I noticed in her in the past season: -New "cool" attitude. -New hair style. -New "cool" clothes (leather jackets, dark lipstick, etc.) -Meaness twoards George. -Annoyence twoards Kramer. I don't like any of these changes! Honestly, Elaine is nothing like she used to be. Please leave comments:

I couldn't agree with you more! Thank god someone else out there sees what they've done to Elaine and doesn't like it. I loved the older shows because she was the first female character on television that I could actually relate to. Now she is irritating. Not to mention,IMHO, her old hair and clothes were much cooler. She used to look unique, now she looks like she is trying to follow the latest fads.

We know that Elaine was really bothered and frustrated by George's engagement. That seemed to be the root cause for meaner personality this year.

Neither is her hair. I watch the syndicated reruns almost every night, and I've been surprised to see that there are some from the "old shows" where her hair is not worn in the long, very curly ponytail with "scrunchie" that I think most of us associate her with. There are some older shows, though I can't specify any off the top of my head, where she has straighter, more "fashionable" hair.

Let's face it...She hasn't had too much luck on the dating scene and she's not getting any younger. I think she's finally seen she's part of a vicious cycle and is getting cranky - especially with the people she's in the rut with.

*bitchy* trap. I hope they find a way to rejuvenate her characer this fall. And though at times I do find it annoying, her *shove* of people when she is excited, agitated, etc. is one of her memorable traits.
