What, you never heard of an Italian Jew? It's not unheard of. Let me roll out the unofficial family tree of George Constanza:
Waaay Back in 1492 when the spanish iquisition was at it's height, Torquemada and company rounded up all the jews and tried to make them convert. They tried real hard with incentives like torture and burning at the stake. As a result many Spanish Jews split Spain.
Enter Italy. The pope at the time was a well known merchant by the name of Borgia (remember that family? he was the daddy). He saw dollar signs first and religion second apparently. So he encouraged as many jews as possible to settle in Italy and set up shops, etc. Remember Shylock? That was in the merchant of Venice, and Venice is in ... you guessed it, ITALY! :)
Ok. To make a long story short. There are italian jews and george constanza is apparently one of them. Another one on TV recently is Gina from Homefront. She was a concentration camp survivor and about as Italian looking as you come. She was also a babe, close to the same league as Ms. Hunt and Ms. Dreyfus-Hall (also Ms. Thorne-Smith, IMHO.)

Of course, it could be that george is catholic. Any proof otherwise?
