Elaine's hair

Is anyone else finding that Elaine's new hairstyles are unattractive and strange? I always thought the character was funnier when she had that long, curly, messy mop she wore when the show first started and up until this new season. She then started wearing the spiral curls which I find distracting and overwhelm her petite stature. She's also been wearing a lot more makeup and I always liked how Elaine wasn't one of those glamour girl types. Last night (May 9th) she had her hair in a straight style, and that wouldn't have been so bad, but the bangs looked like they needed some trimming and her hair was constantly in her face.

I think it's more of a reflection of her more mature role on Seinfeld. SHe's a bit older, and the messy mop do is kind of out of style. She has gone from that school girl, part time job to something more permanent, I guess, and I think the amount of make-up and hairstyle reflects that.

I think she looked best when she "dated" that deaf guy (Rob Schneider) at the opera.

Of course, one could only say great things about her "look" and hairstyle in that Playboy article (http://www.playboy.com).

What do you think, is the new straight look really for Elaine?

I HATE her hair! She doesn't look like the cute, funny Elaine any more, she looks like someone trying to be a fashion model.

I love her new hairstyles (curly and straight)... she works for a upscale clothing catalog company so she's got to look classy. The most recent cut was perfect. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. It's much better than her curly mop, "wall of hair" that she had in the old days.

As noted my post last night, I think Elaine's hair is AWFUL. They flattened out her hair, and what's worse, they flattened out her personality. I can only assume that this change was as a result of some pressure from the public or trying to second-guess that the workd wants yet another "Friends" chick lookalike. If this is indeed the case, to whom can I write to apply MY pressure to get Elaine's hair back?
