"the opposite" is on tonight. be sure not to miss it. it's my number one favorite seinfeld episode. make sure you don't miss george go off on the two guys in the movie theater. it's awesome.

btw, so what's the deal with seinfeld and pepsi? at least twice i've heard pepsi mentioned in the show and tonight in "the slicer" kramer is feeding elaine pepsi through the door although it may say cola on the can we all know what a pepsi can looks like. so did pepsi pay seinfeld to favor them or something?

I realise that, but did Saab, VW, Klien, Snapple, juji fruit, drakes coffee cake, clark bar, twix... etc etc all pay for their plugs? Whats so special about pepsi?

I'm always puzzled by the brands that are referred to in a negative way by the characters. I think this happened at least a few times on Seinfeld. Why would any company want to pay for a negative plug?

It is a strange choice. I like that there is usually a Nissan in the "lead up" scene that pictures the front of Jerry's building....or just about any other building. Usually there is a Z car; a 280 ZX, or a 300ZX.

Speaking of the opposite...

Here's a link to a Simpsons script I wrote which involves Homer seeing the classic "Opposite" episode on Late night TV and deciding to follow George's brilliant scheme of ignoring every intuition he has...there's even a brief appearance by the cast members of Seinfeld...What the hell are they doing in Springfield? Not that there's anything wrong with that!
