Kramer in the first

what was the original name for Kramer in the pilot (aka Seinfeld Chronicles)...i know it was listed in the credits of the original airing but has since been edited for syndication. it wasn't kramer, although for some reason when they picked the show up again they named him after the kramer he was based on...

in the first episode kramer's name was hoffman.
