Saw the final of the 2part episode where Jerry buys his Dad a Cadillac. What movie(?) are they taking off when Jer and his parents walk to the car and wave goodbye etc...

Or where they doing it to fool Lloyd Braun?

The scene where Jerry's dad leaves the condo after being impeached as president of the association was a parody of the Nixon impeachment, when Nixon left the white house in Nixon.

Andrew Johnson didn't avoid impeachment.  He was impeached by the house
of representives.  but the senate fell one vote short of removing him
from office.  it was a guy from Missouri (i can't remember his name!)
that cast the deciding vote, that one vote effectivly ruined that guy's
career.
	but the moral of the story is that he was impeached, just not
convicted in the trial

I believe that it was actually referring to Nixon's farewell, not the movie, the real thing. At least Jerry's dad did the Nixon wave goodbye from Marine 1

They are taking off the scene when Nixon left the White House (by heliocopter) in 1974 after he left the office of the presidency (narrowly escaping impeachment). You might remember at the time that the movie, NIXON was playing in the US starring Anthony Hopkins in the title role.
