I think the word "cute" can sometimes imply diminutive size, but I've never noticed "beautiful" being associated with height.

I associate beauty with being tallish (say at least 5'6") and having a long neck. I am trying to figure out if I am an outlier. In my mind elegance and beauty get associated. Out of the current crop of famous TV 'babes' only one comes to mind that I would call beautiful. The gal who was/is on Spin City. That doesn't mean that many (most?) of them don't have enormous appeal to me.

I guess, bottom line beauty is to me a 1 in a 100 thing and the other terms are a 10 (or more) in a 100 thing. A great many of Jerry's dates were beautiful and even some of George's.

That would certainly describe most runway models and professional ballet dancers, but I don't necessarily find them beautiful. I think I know what you're going for, and I'd say that's just your personal opinion of what is beautiful rather than something implied by the word itself. To me, I think the fashion industry tends to look for "unique women" (especially in the last decade or so) for their runway models. As a result, I actually find a number of them somewhat UNattractive, despite being tall and long-necked.

Here's an interesting question: is Cindy Crawford beautiful? She's tall and in great shape, but doesn't have that long-necked ectomorphic body shape you apparently feel is required for true "beauty", yet I find her far more beautiful than just about any current runway model. Or what about someone even more curvaceous and voluptuous like Britney Spears? (No fair judging her on her music.... :-P ) Or someone short like Janet Jackson, Michelle Pfeiffer, or a substantial number of Playboy models (many of whom are under 5'6")?

I think most of us here feel Julia Louis-Dreyfus is very beautiful, despite her height of just 5'3". And if you don't want her, that just reduces the competition for those of us plotting to get rid of Brad Hall. :-)
