at least for some time

George would NEVER end up with a girlt hat Jerry has dated and bedded, even Lainie.. George was more than willing to go out with Nina Stengel (Backward show) even though she had dated Jerry. George only relented when Jerry assured him that they never ended up in bed. This rules out the possiblity of George and Elaine ending up together. By the way , by the end of the series George and Elaine did not really act like they liked each other very much.

With all due respect, I'm not too sure you're correct. Remember the episode when Elaine recorded the dirty message on Jerry's tape recorder while he was performing at a club. The content of the message was so arousing that Jerry, Kramer and especially George looked at her with "love" (read: lust) in their eyes. Had Elaine been willing, she certainly could have had George.

    I agree.  They were fairly tight in the beginning.  She helped him slip
his boss a "mickey", tried to set him up on a blind date, got him a new job,
even was his extra key holder, but by mid-series she was stealing his rug,
and "killing independent George".  By the time they were at the Puerto Rican
Day parade she was downright nasty with him.  Even slamming the  front seat
against him to get out of the car (and find new friends).
    If George ever had a shot it would have been in the first few seasons.

The animosity between Elaine and George was some of the funniest stuff on the show. I like when she threw his toupee out the window.

The fact that George had girlfriends at all still amazes me. He is way too high maintenance and picky. But those are endearing qualities that I like about him, Just wouldn't want to date him...
