George and Jerry's age/Frogger

Just for fun:

How old are these two guys supposed to be on the show? In the Frogger George says the the high score has remained for ten years. This was their "old high school hangout" which means they were no more than 18 when he got the high score. Now they could have hung around until they were 20 but probably not much more than that. The show first aired in '89 - one year after this high score was achieved. Was Jerry 19 when he moved into his apartment? I find it hard to believe that he was.

PS When was the last time NYC had a blackout?

Never mind that. In the Andrea Doria episode, at one point, George made a crack about how his story of 34 years of misery would guarantee him the apt. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he in the Class of '71 at JFK High School? Assuming 1971 is the year he graduated, that would make him around 42 or 43 for that episode. Can anyone else shed some light on this?

frogger had its heyday from'78 till' 83. This would make their ages around 38 to 33 if they were playing it in high school. I do not remember anyone saying he was class of 71. They may have been in 9th grade then which would put him in the class of 74 or 75. This makes them in the 41 to 42 year old range. I do know that Homer Simpson is class of 73. It is hard to believe that these yahoos are the same age but , anything is possible. I think "The Race" might have the real poop. There of course is absolutely no way that the game would have survived all those years without having the score erased.

You guys are right. They are messing with are minds with the whole age thing. I also remember them graduating HS in '71. That episode was pretty average until the part when George tried to move the Frogger machine across the street. That was hilarious.
