Did anyone notice how unfunny Michael Richards was at the Emmy's. "Someone pushed me"?? Not once, but twice! It was embarassingly puerile.

There's one guy who needs a decent script to be funny!

I've laughed myself silly over David Letterman's top 10 lists many times but I thought he was horribly boring when he hosted the Oscars the other year. Everyone has their bad days. I caught some of Richards' stand-up comedy on Comedy Central once and thought it was pretty good. I didn't see the whole show, though. Does anyone who has seen it have any comments? Also, what about that recent movie with Richards where he hs to impersonate a lawyer? (I forget the name)

i thought it was quite funny. maybe he was just saying goodbye to a great character. jerry thought it was pretty funny, saw him laughing in the audience. how about them shorts?

He was throwing a little burlesque and slapstick into a rather staid program--as such, I found it funny, especially the shorts. Because it was live, he may have not seemed as relaxed as on Seinfeld, which may have made him seem a little forced. But Michael is always a breath of fresh air.
