I had not heard that Julia was an atheist...where did you get that 411? I agree...she is very beautiful, as well as highly talented and intelligent. A wonderful person. Somebody on here mentioned SNL. I don't watch the show and have never seen her on it, but to hear people talk she was really good. I find this a wonderful example of her immense talent because she didn't even like it there! Her husband, Brad Hall (producer of such shows as "The Single Guy") said, it's not a fun place to work. "It's IBM." :) He also mentioned that the show wasn't very kind to women, although I'm not sure why. (Remember that I've never seen the show...maybe you folks can clue me in.) They were both there for a couple years (I think it was two, not sure though), and they were competing for attention against people like Eddie Murphy and Billy Crystal. Not a team game at all, as Julia thought it would be. But the fact that she could do so well when she didn't even like it (she has said that she had no idea what she was doing) proves how talented she truly is. Michael Alexander

I think the funnies skit she did was Marie Osmond to someone playing brother Donny. It poked fun at their wholesome reputation. They start out singing and smiling really fake. Then "Donny" puts his arm around her (in a brotherly fashion, of course) until eventually they are completely making out. It was just so shocking, you had to laugh.

Does anyone remember the short-lived sitcom Julia was on where she played a prima donna friend of the family? The only thing I can remember is that it was a total rip-off of Family Ties and had C.B Barnes in the Michael J. Fox-type role. She was very good in that role as well.

I believe the show you are referring to was actually "Day by Day" and I believe it was about this family who owned a day care center and she played the obnoxious rich next door neighbor-It wasn't a very big hit but it was Classic Julia
