Puerto Rican Day parade episode on right now

I haven't seen this episode since it originally aired. I'm watching it on Fox here in NYC.

I thought the eposide was one of the best. Espically ay the end when they all meet in the appartment. I thought it was great

It is so easy to take a subway in New York City than mess with traffic or cabs, that it was annoying to watch for me. Also, Elaine finally taking a cab to be blamed for it going down that street made no sense. In traffic jams everything is jammed. This show was out of character for the rest of the Seinfeld series to me.

But you are right, the best part of it was the scenes in the apartment. I wished they spent more time there.

NO it is good! This is how the Friends episodes are written at least (and like it or not, they are mostly well written).

They each get into the flavour of the episode, and can bounce ideas off each other, each chipping away at a more refined version.

Why was this episode 'banned' too much racial tension?

There was nothing really to speak of in the episode...

I've just viewed this for the first time after hearing so much about it. Very disappointing on the whole, but the apartment scenes made it worth watching.

I saw it at 10:30 on channel 4 in Dallas.

Agreed, the best parts came in the apartment (and hearing Bob Murphy's voice), although the stuff with the guy in the other car wasn't terrible. But the George and Elaine subplots were just dreadful (especially George's). I can't believe it took *TEN* writers to come up with this episode.

That being said, I'm glad it's back on the air again. The censorship of the episode was stupid to begin with.
