"Just when I think I'm out, they pull me right back" is a George quote (if it isn't a misquotation, which it very well may be. But I think you get it anyway.), right. But I can't remember in which episode he says it and why, though I know that is has to do with breaking up with his girlfriend.
I've also heard that this is originally a quote from The Godfather, Part III. Can anyone confirm this?

I think I've heard more than once the show. I am not sure about the episode but The Strongbox is what first comes to mind.
In this ep, George tries to break up with his girlfriend but she won't agree! So George goes and lists reasons for why they should stop seeing each other and when that doesn't help; he starts dating another woman deliberately trying to get caught. Of course that'd be too easy if it actually worked so George ends up with *two* women desperately wanting to work things out; even though the women know about each other. Some mess he got himself into! ;)

It also appears in season 4 in The Virgin in a fairly similar context. George wants to end things with Susan, but can't because with her position at NBC she could jeopardise the pilot. Then Susan gets sacked, George is jubilant. But Jerry tells him he can't dump her now since the sacking was his fault, and he has to be supportive. Hence George's "Every time I think I'm out, they pull me back in."
