Ellen...?

Pardon my posting this here, but I was surprised that I couldn't find a newsgroup about the Ellen Degeneres show, and I figured that a lot of us who watch Seinfeld also watch Ellen (I could be wrong!). I'm curious to know what's in the bright blue bottles that some of the characters occasionally drink from during the show? Does anybody know if there's anything up with this -- like the bike on Seinfeld's wall...? - RICHARD NOVOTNY III [email]

It is mineral water... I used to wonder the same thing, but recently in a gourmet shop, I saw those bottles with water in it.

Ellen would be great if it *were* a female version of Seinfeld. I would pay to see a show with female counterparts of George and Kramer (esp. Kramer)!

In my opinion, Ellen's show operates in much the same manner as Seinfeld, though the characters (except that guy who works in her bookstore) are less memorable.

Isn't that why they changed it from 'These Friends of Mine?' It was even more so during that season...when it was a group of four friends (three of the same gender, one of the opposite), the main one was a comedian, etc. The situations are really similar, too, like how they repeat key phrases. But my God! That title song gets stuck in your head until it comes on again the following week!

I've seen that one twice. I think it was one of the funnier ones.
