UK: The backwards episode on BBC2 9/1

As part of BBC2's Time season, they showed the much talked about episode 'The Betrayal' where the episode starts with the end credits and the show's plotlines evolve backwards to the opening credits at the end. The show ends with a fantastic scene where Jerry is moving into his apartment and meets his neighbour across the hall - Kramer - for the first time, inviting him to come over whenever he wants.....

What's unusual about this is the fact that this episode is from the very last season of Seinfeld - Season 9, while the episodes they were showing before Christmas were from Season 6. If you missed it, it's probably because it was shown at 5 past midnight. It seems then that the BBC has the rights to all the seasons if they can zoom forward 3 seasons and show one episode out of sync with any other. This of course means we have to put up with the BBC's erratic scheduling for the next 67 episodes until they show the last ever one.

And in case anyone's interested, Seinfeld returns to BBC2 on Tuesdays at 11.15pm on the 19th of January

But apart from the clever backwards idea, which was very well done, didn't you think the episode was a bit weak?

Not that I'm complaining mind you; any time BBC thinks it's suitable for them to screen ont of the most popular sitcoms ever instead of a lot of fat blokes chucking arrows at a wall is just fine with me - if I'm right then the 100th episode is due up in about 3 weeks;I have seen that and few of the episodes immediately following it and they are pretty damn good, so keep your fingers crossed that Auntie doesn't bung on corwn green bowls or something in the meantime......

BBC showed the 'The Betrayal' show, but that was from the last series of Seinfeld and BBC were previously showing the fifth series. I have looked at the tv guide and it looks like they are going back to the fifth series.

Can people get the BBC if they have a satellite or can you only get what's in your own country even on satellite?

I live in Ohio (here in America), and a friend of mine has a satellite dish. He gets a BBC and BBC2 station. (He also gets soap operas in Spanish, but that's another story..)

Here in my apartment, I only have local television channels, but the public television station often shows old BBC programs, and the public radio channel airs live BBC news overnight.

Generally you can only get staellites over this hemisphere. However, I have a 4dtv receiver and they offer a BBC America channel.
