The show is dead

The show used to be a joy from start to finish and I never missed it. The writing wasn't just funny, it was clever. I still watch, but my expectations are much lower. Now the most I hope for is a funny remark by George or an absurd Kramerism, but even those are becoming less and less amusing. It just isn't there anymore. A lot of people in this NG say the show is still better than anything else on TV, but that isn't saying much. I don't think I'll be tuning in this week.

I agree that the writing was much more clever in earlier years. I wonder why they don't do the tie-ins with earlier episodes like they used to. Like when Jerry's father thought someone at the Doctor's office stole his wallet. Then many episodes later, Jerry finds the wallet in his couch. Also, they had similar things with Jerry throwing away his watch, and Uncle Leo finding it in the trash. Then when Jerry's parents come to visit, he tries to buy it back from Uncle Leo. etc...

They should also have a couple of the older characters make an apperance or two. Such as Kenny Banya ("It's gold Jerry! Gold!!") or 'The Drake'.

I disagree I believe seinfeld keeps getting funnier and funnier. They can do anything they want on T.V. and they do...That is great. There would be no Friends or single guy or many other shows if there was no Seinfeld.!!
