most people know that episodes are cut by about 30 seconds to a minute when going into syndication (or, like NBC did with Seinfeld as advertising demand went up near the end of season 9, just splice them up for their second prime-time run)...can you remember any moments/scenes that have been cut from their original airings?

responding to Kramer's questioning whether Jerry would be able to pull the plug on him if he was ever in a coma> - from "The Comeback" (s.8)

-"The Opposite", (s.5)

-cut by NBC in second run, "The Strong Box" (s.9)

she just asked 10 minutes ago. Flashback to 10 minutes ago where she asks. -NBC cut, "The Betrayal"(aka, Backwards Episode, s.9)

I'm from Israel so I don't know what's happening in US with syndications, so can u tell me y exactly do they cut the begining????

they cut most of the monologues from either at the beginning or the end of older episodes. After Jerry stopped doing them on the show for the last two years, some parts of character dialogue have had to go...

i know that one thing that was cut in syndication was in the junior mint episode- when kramer drops the mint into the guys stomach, in the first run you see the mint's journey all the way down to the stomach, in the rerun you don't. It's like a 2 second ut, but they had to do it- got that when i went on kramer's reality tour.
