How about some opinions about tonight's show? I didn't think it was the best ever as some had said it might be, but it was good. Much better than last week's show. Nice tie in with the golf and whale bit! Poor Golden Boy.

I liked it... it wasn't hilarious, and it was still a bit far-fetched
as compared to the stuff that made the older episodes great, but there
were quite a few good laughs as far as I was concerned. I usually don't
fall over laughing at Kramer's antics, but I loved his sound effects for
air-golf... "fffFFFFfffff............... <gluk!>" The opening was kind of odd, I don't remember Jerry being so overbearing
with obvious "schtick" (while Elaine was talking on the phone) before.-Me

I was sure he was gunna mess up with the whale- but he saved the thing and got in the news? Is this a George first- not being a total loser? Too bad he didn't get the girl (what else is new), she was a cute one (as they usally are on the show). I've just about had it with Jerry and this clothing thing he's got going (the dockers, the pirate shirt, and now Golden Boy...).

Speaking of the puffy shirt, the shirt Neils (Frasiers brother) when he showed up at Frasiers apartment, was that the puffy shirt from Seinfeld??? I think it was!!!!!

I thought last night's show was pretty funny. But I also liked last week's, with the party and the puffy coat (hmmm, puffy shirt, puffy jacket.....)
Speaking of the puffy shirt, yeah I noticed Niles Crane wearing it, and also, back around new year's, I was channel surfing and saw MTV VJ Adam Curry wearing a shirt that was amazingly similar to Jerry's puffy shirt. (THAT was an episode...!)
Seen a lot of stuff about this year not being as good as previous seasons. Maybe so, but it still cracks me up.
Frasier keeps getting funnier, and MAY is great, but Wings just doesn't do anything for me. In case it matters.

Is it just me or was Kramer a little too Kramerish last night? He seemed to be trying too hard. Maybe it was just the sand! Does each show just seem to be a string of amazing coincidences? It isn't about nothing; it's about chance occurences. Nikky "You can't handle the truth!"
I agree. It's becoming "Family Matters". George & Kramer are fighting for the role of Urkel.
I agree about Kramer. The part where he was talking about golf was some heavy overacting. These days, it's like he's The Fonz, and doesn't have to have any ties to realism. The coincidences are getting tedious. I hated the theme of stuff falling/being thrown.
I also like doing the Jack Nicholson impersonation from "A Few Good Men." I guess that means that subconsciously, I am the same as George. Scary.

I defintely think that this episode ranks up there with the puffy shirt/hand model episode!
All this about the amazing coincidences is what makes the show great! It wouldn't be as funny if it was predictable!
I watch it so much that it's getting to the point where I know what's gonna happen next (not say that it's not funny) I knew they were going to mention something about the other guy "pleasuring himself" in the puffy shirt/hand episode.
Loved "Golden Boy", loved "War, what is it good for", was amused with the marine biology, hated the getting hit on the head story-line. I think one of the show's big problems is that they now feel obligated to write a story line for each character, instead of just getting a few good ideas and going with them. They end up with some lame filler just to get each actor enough screen time (Elaine's bachelor auction, the Russian writer throwing Elaine's stuff away, etc).

Well, with all this talk about Helen Hunt, I'll throw in my opinion....
Wings does plenty for me. I think Tim Daly is gorgeous! I'd watch it just for him.
