Just the though that a Jewish guy would go completely out of his way to find one certain Catholic Priest and alert him of offensive Pope joke material is too much!! I thought I'd die. Taking a seat on the kneeler was classic. Won't be able to take a look at one of those without giggling the next time I go to confession!
I missed the very beginning of the episode - did I miss something that explained how George managed to find Jerry everywhere he went?
You missed earlier in the episode, Georgeshows up when Jerry is at the dentist, he goes hope you dont mind me showing up-, he just pops up while Jerrys about to have his teeth worked on. It was funny, like what is George doing here out of nowhere, than he does it again at confessional.
I think the best use of a confessional in a comedy (although not a series) was in a sketch on Saturday Night Live. I remember it had to do with this new confessional computer called the "Trinity 2000" or something. The priest listens to the confession, types it in the computer and after some computing sounds, the priest says something like, "Ok, lets see we we got.....hmmmm, for that sin you'll have to do 10 hail Mary's, two acts of contrition...." It was cute. It was like an advertisement I think?
