It's Kosmo, with a "K"....

I'm probably in the minority, but I still insist that Kramer's first name is spelled with a K, not a C. It's Kosmo Kramer. Don't you think that sounds more er...right, than Cosmo Kramer ?

Cosmo is a real name, but it's always spelled with a "C." Now, maybe Babs Kramer was real eccentric and spelled with a "K," but it would be highly unusual.

Yeah. I've had to admit defeat. Somebody pointed out, quite correctly, that Kramer once referred to his initials as being the same as Calvin Klein's. Can't argue with that... Kerro

But, when Kramer was doing the Calvin Klein ads, didn't he state that he had the same initials as Calvin?

It's probably a "C", as in Cosmopolitan. I have never heard of Cosmo being spelled with a "K"

Actually, the former roadie of the English band, "The Clash" was named "Kosmo Vinyl". A fake name admittedly, but still... Kerro.

No. It's definitly with a k. I seem to recall an ep. where some called Kramer, KK. Also, all the newspapers, as well as the Seinfeld page on NBC spell it with a K.

You seem to recall wrong, and if you saw it in a newspaper, then they made a mistake.

The NBC Seinfeld page, http://www.nbc.com/entertainment/shows/seinfeld/, spells it Cosmo.

And, as pointed out already, in 2 different scenes it's been revealed that it is spelled with a 'C': Kramer's picture in "The Kiss Hello," and Kramer saying that he has the same initials as Calvin Klein (anyone know the episode?).

How much more proof do you need?
