Fans discuss how The Bookstore episode's ending sequence differed between its original NBC broadcast and later syndication airings.

we all remember how when The Bookstore episode was shown on NBC it had no ending sequence. But when it was finally shown last night in syndication, it had one. I know that I had seen that part of the show in the original showing, but it wasn't at the end. It wasn't even the final scene. Does anyone remember where it came from?

It was the final scene from the original NBC show. For syndication, they just added a commercial break in front of it and then played the end credits over it.
