The following is taken verbatim from the New York Post of May 9th: " Jerry Seinfeld finally dropped by to say "heil" to the real life food vendor much lampooned on his sitcom as the "Soup Nazi." Our spies in line at the merchant's midtown stall yesterday say Seinfeld, incognito with dark glasses and baseball cap, patiently stood in line for about 10 minutes with a couple of pals. When he finally got to the grub, he whipped off the disguise with a "ta-da!" "The soup guy didn't look amused and went off on him for about three minutes," said one spy. "Jerry just kept quiet. The guy said, 'You are not good for my food. This is," and proceeded to hold up a videotape of a news spot done on him years ago.
