I couldn't help but wonder if Kramer going to the Price Club was just so he could buy a can big enough for a horse to eat out of . . . I mean I think the writers thought of the horse eating out of the Beefarino can and then realized Kramer had to get a VERY large can . .. ????

Could be... But don't forget about the scene where the musician said he couldn't help him carry the stuff up to his apartment because his hands are his life...this later ties in with the musician (sax player) that Elaine went out with, who ended up using his mouth for a non-musicial purpose...which later ended up ruining his sax playing for the evening.
