Viewers felt the episode lacked something and had uneven pacing, with concerns that certain plot elements like Kramer's mother needed better development and scenes could have been extended.

I watched the show on 1/5. Somehow I got the feeling the show ran out of time. I felt something was missing. I think the should have molded Kramer's mother a little differently, something just diddn't feel right. When they walked into Newmans apartmant I felt things could have carried on further. Like several other shows it would have its hight point drop down to a low point then I'm back up again. Feel rollercoastered sometimes.

I agree. I thought they could have had a better character as Kramer's mother. They must have hit a low point. Or owed someone a guest shot.

I'll feel let down if they drop the story line. It'll be interesting to see if they continue either the "Cosmo" or "Babs" subplots. I'd assume we won't hear anymore about the menage a'trois.

I was disappointed when George's opposite subplot wasn't revivied in the second half of last season's cliff hanger (the last half being this year's season opener).
