Stollen is a sweetbread which comes in a loaf which is sort of long, wide and flat. It has icing on the top whith candied fruit scattered through it. It is mostly served during Christmas time as a palatable alternative to fruitcake. I find it a bit on the dry side and don't like candied fruit. Steve

This might be helpfull, except..... what is stollen?

It may or may not contain white raisins. My wife and her sister

                peppermint in apple pie.... sounds interesting,
                but how about junior mint.  Might taste good; who knows.
