Best Rants

Sometimes, the funniest parts of Seinfeld happen when a character goes on and on, ranting about something or another. You really need a VCR to watch these, because you're laughing so hard you miss stuff. My favorite examples OTTOMH (off the top of my head):

1) Mr. Bookman in "The Library" One long rant from when he comes in the apartment. Goes on for like 5 minutes. "...where a little boy can go to read The Cat in the Hat or The Seven Chinese brothers without seeing pictures of wee-wees and pee-pees... or maybe you like that? Well listen up, Joy boy..." (not verbatim due to it being all OTTOMH)

2) George from "The Truth" "It is the earrings... it is the chopsticks... but it's so much more! You're *pretentious*!"

3) Jerry from "The Switch" "I'm not an orgy guy..."

4) Jerry from "The Parking Garage" "The truth is... I have uromycitosis..." "...my brother and his friends are probably peeing all over town"

5) George from "The Opposite" Yelling at the rude people in the seats behind him

Another good one is the one from this season, when George's boss (George Steinbrenner) thinks George is dead, and he goes over to his parents house to give them the bad news, and all Frank can do is complain about some trade George Steinbrenner had made on the Yankees. :)

When the have a meeting at NBC and George is telling Jerry the different things he can say to get them out of it.

Approx. "My poor sister, she's dead! She was walking down the street and she was laughing and they shot her! What kind of a sick society do we live in where they shoot you for laughing?"
