Six Degrees Of Seinfeld

Q: Does anyone know how Seinfeld is related to Caroline in the City?

A: In one episode of Mad About You, Paul Reiser's character sold his apartment to "Kramer", which he was subletting. The waitress on Mad About You is the twin sister of "Phoebe" on Friends. And, "Chandler" from Friends was on an episode of Caroline in the City.

Wouldn't it be easier to just list the people from Friends that showed up on Seinfeld then make the leap to Chander & then to Caroline in The City? Leave out the Mad About You degree?

There were no episodes where Friends characters were on Seinfeld.

I think he means characters as in playing the same people e.g. Michael Richards appearing as Kramer in MAY. But if we're talking actors Chandler's black boss in friends was the guy in the Big Brother program in Seinfeld (not sure of the episode). And Gayle Cunningham from The Shoes (Ep 54) was played by the actress who first played Ross' wife Carol in Friends.

I don't think Six Degrees is played that way. I believe we are talking about ACTOR appearances & not characters.

Okay, so how fast can we link Kevin Bacon to Seinfeld? I haven't checked the FAQ, but this info should be there! The fastest I can think of is: Kevin Bacon to Robert DeNiro (Sleepers) DeNiro to Jason Alexander (Rocky/Bullwinkle- not released yet though) Alexander to Sein.

So Jay is correct. There original question referred to characters that appeared in both. Lots of actors have appeared on both shows. FWIW it was not a laundry mat it was a Dry Cleaner.

His question should have been more clearly stated then because whenever I played Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon it was ALWAYS actors and NEVER characters. Don't copy the name if you are using different criteria .
