Took a ride past this place last weekend. It's Uptown by Columbia U. on Broadway. Though the outside is indeed what's shown on the show, sorry to say that once you peer inside, you're kind of grossed out because the place isn't exactly as neat and friendly looking as the Monk's where Jerry and Crew eat!
I checked out the menu and it's a typical "greasy spoon" (emphasis on the GREASE)! Have to admit there were plenty of customers inside and a few taking photos standing in front of the doorway.
Guess us New Yorkers just love this kind of stuff!
