Festivus still in the cultural lexicon

I don't know about everybody else, but I keep on hearing Festivus references in my daily life, (aside from in Seinfeld). I've heard it mentioned in a few radio ads, and I've even seen it on a marquee here in the suburban NYC area.

It's being mentioned several times a day in other usenet groups aside from this one;

Any one else running into it this holiday season?

We laugh now, but in our future more intelligent society (that features less religion and commercialism), it could become the norm!

I can think of "Get Smart" in the 60's when everbody was walking around saying "sorry about that, Chief", "missed it by that much", "...and loving it", "would you believe...", "cone of silence", etc...

"All in the Famiy" and the comedy "Laugh In" each added a lot of phrases to our daily language as well.

Any others?

I'd have to say Saturday Night Live, [way too much stuff to mention]. Problem is sometimes nowadays, characters are created with the catchphrase in mind.

As far as sitcoms go, Seinfeld's got to be IT by a mile.

In the UK it's still "Sein-what?"

"Saturday Night Live? That thing with Mike Myers, right? And The Blues Brothers?"
