11/10 show

I loved last night's episode (11/10)...rarely don't I like a Seinfeld.

As usual, I've got a few questions...

1. Where was all of the cereal? Jerry usually has ten or twelve boxes lined up over the sink...last night he only had two. Better go shopping?

• Does soup count as a meal?

FYI, some of my fav. lines from last night....

Jerry: The omlette, (pause) damn!

Jerry: I don't even wan to go out with him..I'd rather make my own suit.

Jerry: (about women talking about boyfriends) It's the way they just slip it in there!

And my favorite...

Elaine: Crackers in a bowl, that could be a meal.

Not anything LOL, but pretty funny...I thought it was great.

Kramer's girlfriend ate all of Jerry's food.

My favorite part of the show was when they coined a term for something that's been around for awhile. Calling an audible.

I assume that Kramer took all the cereal. Remember how he kept coming in to take Jerry's food to feed to the waitress he was going out with? He ended up taking all of Jerry's food.

I would agree with Elaine on this question on one point. It depends what kind of soup it is. If it is thick and chunky and has a lot of vegetables and meat, it's a meal. If it's something like chicken broth, afraid not.

That is what I figured, too. _Everything_ in Seinfeld seems to have consequences. The amazing thing to me is that sometimes I am still surprised by them. (George suddenly appearing shirtless at a party, for example...they really set that up.) Kramer dumps his refrigerator...and proceeds (with his overbearing girlfriend, no less!) to eat Jerry out of house and home; Elaine (who _is_ hot, when she is not contortedly pondering whether she has 'grace') flies her new boyfriend in from London, and he turns into a leech; Jerry reluctantly accepts a suit, and it becomes the bane of his existence. (Now connecting up the leech and the suit _and_ the obnoxious, incompetent, Armani-suit-giving comic...that was nice.) That seems to be the core concept of the show: every action has an amplified, disastrous, yet somehow logical consequence. Ok, maybe it is a formula...but so often brilliantly carried off.

how unusual for Jerry.......and while we are on the topic of food, does soup and sandwhich constitute a meal?????
