Fans question why NBC aired a repeat episode so early in the season instead of consecutive new episodes, with speculation that a baseball playoff game prompted the scheduling decision.

I just wanted to say one thing about last week's episode (Oct 20):

Why the repeat epsisode so early in the season???? Was it to spread out the new episodes further along the season? I can understand this, and know it's become a common trend lately (unlike the old days when a show ran *all* its new episodes first before going to reruns), but after only THREE new shows, it seems too soon for a repeat. Are there creative problems behind the scenes? Judging by the last two new shows, I would say no. Does anyone have an explanation for the repeat show?

nbc probably had a baseball playoff game scheduled for that night. since there is no baseball, they probably needed a filler.

I find it very anoying as well. I figure it had to be bad timing on my part I ussually have a class but got home early last week!!
