okay, I was here a few days earlier and I see a post called "Is George Gay?" and I think "wow intriguing, its possible" and I open it up and I see this worthless crap... well anyway there are strong arguements for both sides of the " George's sexuality debate" so lets voice our opinion in here and see if we come to a major conclusion.. I'm interested to see the results of other Seinfeld fans... I've been watching Seinfeld for years now and I've seen every ep so I know there's enough "fuel for the fire" on this... so speak your mind.. any comments?

Some of the writers sometimes have George do and say some pretty "gay" stuff (Jerry&Kramer too) But I'd have to say George is as straight as they come.

George is straight all the way. But he's so afraid of being gay, it gets blown way out out of proportion, and thats what makes it so funny. (the male masseuse, his "man-love for a lady jerry", the nyu journalist, etc.) Classic.

It's true, George is NOT homophobe, as far as I can remember, he has never despised or criticized homosexuality. imho, a homophobic character wouldn't be very good comedy material anyway... George is just a straight guy who's afraid of becoming gay. period. Which is WAY a lot funnier!!!

I agree completely. Remember Jerry and George with their "not that there's anything wrong with that" mantra? A homophobe for a character would not be funny at all; George is funny because he's often so often neurotic regarding his sexuality. Another great line: "I think it moved".
