Jerry's Mom Dated James Dean!!

     Heard on Entertainment Tonight recently that the actress that plays
Jerry's mom was a dancer in the 50's and once dated James Dean.
     No, I can't explain why I was watching Entertainment Tonight.

I read somewhere that the actress who plays Jerry's Mom (can't remember her name at the moment) thought it would be a good show-idea to have Jerry find out that his mom dated James Dean. I agree -- I think it would be hilariously funny if they did it right. :)

There's a biography series called "Hollywood Dearest" (sounds sleezy but in fact is very respectable) and James Dean was recently featured, including a lengthy interview with Jerry's tv mom...what is her name!? She met JD in New York and they shared an apartment for a while, he took her home to meet his family, etc. but they drifted apart when he started to get famous...(and he only did 3 movies!).

The actress's name is Liz Sheridan. There's also an article about her and James Dean in the current issue of People (which you can access on line through http:\\www.pathfinder.com). It mentions that Jerry Seinfeld is quite fascinated with her connection to Dean and frequently asks her questions about him.
