I have just been watching 'The Doorman'
Is it my imagination, or is the scene where Kramer is chased down the street by the female German tourist taken directly from the street scene in 'Marathon Man' where Zell is chased doen the street by the female camp survivor?

When Jerry and Elaine are getting their story straight. Elaine is pacing behind Jerry who is sitting on the sofa. Elaine is dressed as if she could be a character in a Hitchcock movie or something of that era at least. The dialogue is spoofish and brings to mind any lazy screenwriter so might just be general rather than specific.
