Viewers debate whether a scene showing Jerry shaving Newman bald appeared in the original broadcast of "The Barber" but was cut from syndicated reruns.
There was an episode with Jerry trying to change barbers, except the new barber is the cousin of his old barber, and they work in the same barber shop. I remember when I saw the episode in first-run, Newman was seen at the end with a bald head, saying he would not be able to go out with Kramer for awhile.
In a rerun I subsequently saw, that bald Newman scene was not shown. Am I imagining this, or did they sell the last two minutes to commercial time??

I have every show from first-run broadcast on tape and the scene when the bald Newman is talking to Kramer on the phone came AFTER the Castle Rock logo, which is usually the last thing you see. The syndicated re-runs leave this scene out.
No, you did not image this. The way I remember it, was that they had the regular ending, then rolled the "Castlerock Entertainment" lighthouse, then showed Newman bald, saying, that he couldn't go out for a while.
I too noticed, and was disapointed that they couldn't get that into the syndicated version.
