Fans praise the show returning to its core concept of finding humor in trivial everyday situations, with the puffy shirt episode exemplifying classic Seinfeld about nothing.
For those of you who are disappointed with the premiere, here's something that will definitely cheer you back up. The next show is REALLY about NOTHING!! It's all based on a shirt Jerry wears. THE WHOLE SHOW is centered around this shirt. Classic Seinfeld at its best, if you ask me.

I'm very releived to see that Seinfeld is moving back
to basics. Topics such as sex, etc. can be amusing
but it starts to get old after a little while. Personally,
I find the most humor in the show comes from ordinary,
everyday things. Like losing the car in the parking
garage, or buying shower gifts for people, or parking
in handicap spaces. (Even going to a lesbian wedding.
-not that there's anything wrong with that!) What I
find most amusing about the show is the interactions
between the charactors. The facial expressions and
mannerisms that make Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer
so different from your typical everyday sitcom drones.
That is what makes an episode about "nothing" come to
life in such an amusing and hilarious way. I was rather
disapointed in the season premier, because it seemed to
me that the writers were going for shock value,and in
doing so, lost some of the more minute and "Sienfeldian"
charactoristics that I so look forward to every Thursday
evening.
