A fan announces the launch of a searchable Seinfeld database website, receiving mixed reactions with some technical issues reported but general encouragement.
Remember? A few weeks ago i asked if there is any searchable Seinfeld Database on the web. Well since there wasn't one I said to myself "Let's do it".
And now finally after more than a week of hard (extra) work it has been done. (that's the reason why there were no stupid questions at alt.tv.seinfeld the last couple of days ;-) )

You mean you got it to work??? All that I got was about 300 java script errors until Netscape ate itself.....

I got one Java script error, 2 "HTTP error 400"s due to "malformed
syntax", and a GPF in KERNEL32.DLL.
I think I'll wait until v2.0 comes out. Till then, no soup for me.

BTW- I love that tag - I was around when this thinking was invented. My professors would deduct marks if we used one extra byte or caused one extra iteration of a loop. We've come a long way. Now they can be as sloppy as hell and just say ...64 megs required...

When these things don't work for me, I never know if it's me, aol, or something wrong with the site. First off, I was thrilled there were no rude messages telling me it could not be accessed with my deficient equipment. However, it was black print on dark blue (is this just me or is it that way for all of you???). I could hardly read anything. I also had trouble finding how to access the search aspect. I clicked on things but nothing happened. When I clicked on Staff to leave an email feedback message, nothing happened either.
After seeing all the positive feedback I have to conclude either you guys have Superman vision or the page my browser is seeing is different from the one you are all seeing. Cynthia
Like i said before, my website can only be fiewed properly with IE or Navigator starting from version 4! I don't know which browser AOL uses but I think even if they use one of them, it's somehow customized and may not work.
By the way, I did not minimize the browser support to versions 4 to annoy anybody. I just used the latest ASP Technology to make this website as versatile as possible and this technology is only supported by the these(original) two browsers starting from 4.
