Survivors of the Holocaust may, indeed, find the Soup Nazi to be offensive, because soup may have been the only food they were fed in the camps. But, I found him to be hilarious, and a skewering parody of the rigid, irrational, and violent thought processes acssociated with Nazis.
My point? Can we all please just lighten up a bit? Remember, since everyone is offended by something, nobody should be offended by anything! Huh?
Personally, I was outraged when George couldn't jump after working out with Jimmy's shoes. I'm a white guy, and I can jump! Really!!
