I just saw the rerun of when Elaine sends out Christmas cards that shows her nipple on the card. In the show, Newman comes into Jerry's apartment while Elaine is there to confirm her nipple is showing. == What I am wondering about, when Elaine wanted to have her neighbors noisy dog taken away, Kramer took Elaine to Newman to do the job.

Have I just got the shows reversed or did anyone else see things the way I did?
I dont see the problem. Kramer did not take Elaine to meet Newman for the first time, rather he took her to met him in the context of introducing her to someone who could do her dirty deed. It was not disclosed that Newman was the person until she was in his apartment talking to him. I dont agree with your statement that Elaine acted like she had not met Newman before, you're seeing things that aren't there.
What caught my attention was that Newman was not more interested in the card, given his crush on her revealed in a later episode. I would not normally nit pick like this, but one of the things I like about Seinfeld is that it uses continuity a lot. I started watching the series in the middle, and saw the episode about George modelling his hand before I saw the episode about the 'competition'. In the former, George comments that "I won a contest...", which confused me. I forgot about it, and then lat- er saw the competition episode. When I again saw the hand episode (gee, couldn't they _both_ be called the 'hand' episode...?), all was clear... gotta love it!
