I keep reading these posts about how the finale should be about how everyone gets killed, murdered or commits suicide; or how Newman will go postal or Babu exerts his violent wrath. My question is, WHY?
Why this obsession with everyone ending like this? Now, of course, I am not referring to everyone on this ng. Just a select few that seem to come up frequently with these bizarre ideas.

What you just said gives me a perverse idea. Here it is. Sorry, if you don't like it....in the final episode George, Elaine, Kramer, and Jerry decide that they really all love each other, despite their cruel demeanors. They then decide to express their friendship and then the scene cuts to the whole Seinfeld gang decide having an orgy, a menag-a-trois, everybody is having sex with everybody- Jerry with Elaine with George with Kramer. Just a perverse idea.
These ideas come from within! Julia Louis-Dreyfuss said in an interview that she thinks they'll all be killed in the end. And when Larry David was on Dateline NBC the other night, he said something like "we haven't decided how to end it, although Julia keeps saying we should drive the cast off a cliff..."

Of course if you think hockey is SO violent then I wouldn't be suprised to see you outside a courthouse trying to ban the Simpsons for the violence and chlid abuse. A true crime is putting hockey and Pro wrestling on the same page much less the same sentance. Just my HO.

I find that odd too. I think the finale should be, just like a regular episode. At the end they all just go their seperate ways, or as the credits role they just make plans to do something. I see it like this: the credits role and Jerry asks if they are all still up for a movie or some such thing later that night. I think it would just be fitting and make them seem a little more real.
i think this then leaves these characters alive and fresh in our minds, and hey, if 5 years later Jerry thinks that maybe getting these guys back together for another show, you don't have to wonder how they got back together etc etc
