Anybody have a wav. of this?

Well, it is a Green Day song, so you could just go buy the CD. The song is actually called "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" and it's on the album Nimrod. The official Green Day website has RA and AU files, but I'm sure you could find a WAV or MP3 within a few minutes. The Official website is at www.greenday.com, but it will just redirect you to another URL.

When they started playing the song, my friends and I all said "Oh God, why did they have to use Green Day"

While I didn't actually cry, I did feel like crying :) I also felt "congratulations" to the cast. Although these last few seasons haven't been as good, they were the best at what they did and had the best sitcom (and most original) on television for many years.
