Monk's

In all the episodes I've seen, it seems that there are two different tables the Seinfeld gang sit at in Monk's. One of those is the same, (it seems), table as the cafe Reggies', which is a supposedly bad cafe that George had to go to in several episodes where he was banned from Monks and various other reasons. It looks like the same place in both Reggies & Monks, (at the table by the window), except in one they have "Monk's" on the window. Why couln't they just film at another place for those two episodes or else film at the other table at Monk's where they usually sit?

First, I just wanted to let you know that the show where George is banned from Monk's Cafe is called "The Soup". (just an f.y.i.)

Second (to get to the main point), the set used for Monk's Cafe was the same one they have always used (of course), but for that particular episode, the set used for the other cafe was an entirely different set.

Off hand, I can't remember if they have used sections of the Monk's Cafe set to portray a different cafe or restaurant, and it could very well be true that they have, but not in the case of this episode, for sure.
