the first is about the relationship between geo and susan. he's realizing that he's made a terrible mistake while she's blissfully happy, and they're laying there watching a show about two people who fell in love at first sight and have been "mad about you" ever since. it's called irony.

the other goes back to an early "mad about you" episode. kramer got his apartment, across the hall from jerry, from paul. the plot was paul's wife (can't think of her name right now) found out he still had his bachelor apartment and was subletting it. she viewed this as a lack of commitment. the show ended with paul turning the lease over to kramer, after kramer convinced him "i'll mind the past while you giddyap into the future."

well, i think so, but what's that mean? all that 'contemporary' means is that you're the same age, same genreation. reiser would just need to be fortyish, and bingo, contemporaries.
