Also, the other guy's suggestion is breaking the netikette.

I'm using a free text-only news server (http://news.cis.dfn.de/) and I usually get NO spam on any newsgroup. I don't know how they do that but it seems its filters work pretty well.

PS: I'm just giving a suggestion, I don't work for DFN and this isn't a spam I hope :)

i too use that free news server and they use a wicked spam filter, i read all about it at the link posted, very sweet. i love no spam.
