Grade on this season so far

I give this season a C for now. Hopefully Jerry will pick up the pace in the final half of the season and raise the grade up to an A by the time the grand finale rolls around but right now looking back this has to be Seinfeld's worst season yet, even though I liked most of the episodes that came out so far. So far I would give this season a B-. The shows this season would have been considered good last season. Everyone's expectations are just too high because of all of the last-season hype. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the rest of the season.

You're probably right...I was just thinking back to "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," and in retrospect it probably tailed off a bit in quality its final season (1976-77); I don't recall at what point of that season Mary decided to call it quits, though.
