Jerry on Larry

I saw a promo where Jerry is supposed to be on the Larry Sanders Show on HBO next week (Oct 22). Jerry and Larry (Garry Shandling) talk about the business, and one scene had them walking through Jerry's apartment on the Seinfeld set - should be funny.

Do other Seinfeld fans watch Larry Sanders? Its becoming one of my favorite shows. I'd like to see Jerry do a regular series on cable - I'm convinced that NBC will eventually find a way to ruin Seinfeld, and I think a cable- based show would be the perfect antidote.

A few months back, after seeing the season premiere of "Dream On" and "Larry Sanders", I was saying pretty much the same thing, that I would like to see the show on cable. Not because of NBC, but because of having less restrictions and no commercials so that the show would flow better.

I was thinking of a line-up like this: "Dream On", "Seinfeld", "Larry Sanders", and the upcoming Howard Stern sit-com.

(I don't have HBO, but CBC broadcasts it un-edited across Canada (with the warning "may be unsuitable for some viewers)) The funny thing about the show is that the first time I ever saw it, I was just flipping around (against Sanders' wishes... heheh!) and I saw Larry swear, and I thought... hey that guy swore on network TV... so I watched a bit more and found it quite hilarious!! I have been an avid viewer ever since.
