Hi all. Glad this group has been started!
Hard to believe that this show has finally made it. Some points I might make are:
Now that it's been a whole season or so, things should start getting settled. I just hope they don't get boring, which happens to so many shows. Seems like things are getting familiar already. It's great! I'm finally beginning to figure out the characters; for a while I was like, "What's his gig?"
I hope Kramer doesn't go bonkers popularity-wise. He _is_ the best part of the show, but when a scene-stealer begins to take over, the scripts tend to go out the window otherwise. So far so good - just enough exposure. How does he do that shaking thing with his head?! (And that hair!)
I hope NBC drops "Seinfeld" into one time-slot and leaves it there. Since the network has had so many other events going (Olympics, ...), it's been moving it around a lot. They did that with "Dear John". I used to love "Dear John". Now I can't stand it. They killed it. I don't want the same thing to happen to this show!
I'm glad that the producers steered away from having it as a stand-up comedy-based show. That was the original concept, with the sitcom stuff as filler. I think it's worked out much better having the acts as the central ingredient. Seinfeld's funny, but the scenarios they create are way funnier!
And a question: What happened with the "this, that, AND the other" thing between Jerry and Elaine? Last (new) episode I remember (season finale or not?) was where they decided to go for the "that" and have the "this", but ended up having the "other" as well. May- be I forgot the ending. Did they break up? I think I like them better as friends.
